Handcrafted, unlacquered pure copper (tamra) pot for traditional Jala Neti—a simple nasal rinse used to keep the nasal passages clear and comfortable.
How to use (Jala Neti)
-
Prepare lukewarm, sterile/isotonic saline: 250 ml sterile or previously boiled-and-cooled water + ½ tsp non-iodized fine salt (optional pinch of baking soda).
-
Stand over a sink, lean forward, tilt the head to one side.
-
Insert the spout into the upper nostril and breathe through the mouth.
-
Let the solution flow out of the lower nostril; switch sides.
-
Gently blow out remaining water without force.
-
Perform light drying breaths (short exhales) to clear residual moisture.
Care
-
Rinse immediately after use; hand-wash only.
-
Periodically polish with lemon + salt (or vinegar + salt); rinse and dry thoroughly.
-
Copper develops a natural patina—this is normal.
-
Store clean and dry. Not dishwasher/microwave safe.
Safety notes
-
Use sterile or boiled-and-cooled water only; never unboiled tap water.
-
Do not use if you have nasal/ear infection, severe congestion, or recent nasal surgery unless advised by a practitioner.
-
For saline rinse only; avoid acidic or medicated liquids unless professionally directed.
-
Keep out of reach of children.
Capacity and finish may vary slightly due to hand craftsmanship.
