A traditional ghritham prepared by the classical snehapāka method. Pure clarified lipid is slowly processed with a kvātha (decoction) and kalka (paste) of Daśamūla, Bala, and other Vāta-balancing herbs. In Ayurveda it is used to nourish nerves, muscles, and joints, and is valued in post-natal care and daily rasāyana routines.
Suggested use (adults)
¼–½ tsp once or twice daily after food with lukewarm water or milk, or as advised by an Ayurvedic practitioner.
